Role:

The Project Manager will support ongoing CBSC strategy and participate in planning for future initiatives to drive new opportunities aligning with CBSCs vision. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of assigned projects, driving the process for status reporting, tracking progress, dependency management, issue escalation/resolution for initiatives, and adhering to project budgets.

Job Description:

o Lead project initiatives within Closed Block Service Center through all phases of project management including scoping and initiation, planning, execution, performance monitoring and project closure o Preparation of project plans, tracking progress and status reporting o Support expense management analysis and reporting activities including monthly accrual entries, budget updates, and other ad hoc reports/activities o Create regular executive reporting materials to track project variances and explanations for scope, timeline, or budget changes o Ensure coordination points with Department Heads and SMEs are established and are working smoothly o Coordinate development of governance documentation including business requirements and functional specifications o Work effectively as a team member and contributor Required Skills:

o 7+ years experience working as a Project Manager o Minimum 10 years experience in complex, multi-segment, corporate environments o Knowledge of Agile approaches – Kanban, Scrum, etc.

o Knowledge of JIRA and Clarizen is a plus

o PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred o Knowledge of expense management concepts including financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

o Insurance or Financial Services experience preferred o Advanced project management and meeting facilitation skills o Strong prioritization skills and reporting capabilities o Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization o Ability to build and translate a project plan into Agile processes o Able to streamline complex requirements to simplify business processes o Experience running multiple projects in parallel and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-motivated, detailed oriented and responsible team player
